We love to inspire and help the next generation of vets and veterinary nurses.
We do this in a variety of ways:
- Attending local school careers fairs. Vet and Greenbay owner Laura has attended Torquay Girls Grammar School, and Churston Ferrers Grammar school in recent weeks.
- Helping with mock interviews, giving young people experience ready for job or university interviews.
- We welcome young people on work experience, although as not all local practices do so we do get booked up quite far in advance!
- We are a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, training degree and apprentice students.
- We help train future vets through university Extramural Studies placements.
Many of our veterinary nurses started out with us on work experience, and seeing students who have been to us on work experience getting places at university to study veterinary medicine is really rewarding.
