Getting ready for fireworks season

There are some fireworks displays planned locally for the weekend of 4th/5th November. Fireworks can be stressful for your pet. Many dogs and cats are affected by the loud bangs. Dogs may run, hide, tremble, pace, pant, refuse to eat or even try to escape to help themselves cope. Cats may also run away, hide and refuse to eat.

Things you can do to be prepared:

For pets who really struggle, the vet may be able to prescribe anti-anxiety medication to help. To book an appointment with a vet give us a call, or book online.
