Found a hedgehog?

By Lifelearn Admin November 9, 2018 Greenbay Vet News No Comments

If you find a hedgehog you are worried about, please follow the advice on the British Hedgehog Preservation Society website. At this time of year you may see juvenile hedgehogs that are old enough to be away from their mothers, but too small to hibernate. The Society has written an excellent article about how you can help your local hedgehog juveniles, and advice on when to seek help from those with more experience.

Following the recent closure of Prickly Ball Farm and Hedgehog Hospital in Newton Abbot, local hedgehog rescue and rehabilitation has been taken on by ELM Wildlife Hedgehog Rescue & Rehabilitation.
